The Department of Interior is seeking American Indian college students in the fields of energy and natural resource management for an internship program at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois.  Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Larry Echo Hawk announced the openings in early January as part of an effort to train the next generation of tribal energy management professionals.  Qualifying students will work with scientists researching new forms of renewable and nonrenewable energy and learn about the environmental effects of energy development.  The internship runs from May 25 through Aug. 6, and 12 positions are available.
